Interview with Mrs and Mr Wright

What made you come to Spain?
L- Mainly the weather and the friendliness of the Spanish people in the area Some friends had came out here five years ago and they told us about the wonderful time they were having so in February we came to take a look.
T- We first thought of France but the weather and the real estate market are more buoyant here and the people are a lot more friendly.

What made you choose inland instead of the coast?
T- Lesley and I are not really towns people. We enjoy the countryside and a quiet life. The views around here are fabulous and more Spanish.
L- We came to Spain to be part of Spain and not to be part of the English Community on the coast, but in 25 minutes we can be swimming in the Mediterranean. So we have the best of both worlds.

Was it hard to adapt to Andalusia’s way of life?
L- Surprisingly not. Once you have learnt to slow down things just slot into place. Now it\'s a lot less stressful than life in the U.K.
T- Over the past year we have both been studying Spanish and now we feel comfortable with our Spanish friends and neighbours although sometimes we get stuck for words.

What about the people in the local town?
L- The people are very friendly and welcoming. I think that the fact we do try to speak Spanish helps a great deal. On the whole we use the local shops and everybody says \"Good morning\" and so we feel at home here.
T- The market on a Sunday is great and you can buy everything you need for the week.

T- I like the size of the windows but at first we didn\'t realise that the shutters should be shut when it gets hot, that\'s what the Spanish do. We like having a fireplace and all in all the house is the right size, its nice to look at and most importantly fitted our budget.

Why did you decide to put your confidence into Progesw?
T- Before we chose Progesw we talked to some other of your satisfied clients and we were convinced that you could build what we were looking for, a mix of traditional Andalusia style with all the comforts of a new construction.
All with a 10 year guarantee!
L- And the post-sales service that is second to none.

What do you think about the Real Estate market?
T- It’s very buoyant and rising. It\'s not being inflated by British buyers but by Spanish Nationals too, coming from the coast and around the province.

Is buying a house in the Malaga area is a good investment?
T- Absolutely, you only have to take a look at all the building work going on to see that things are booming.
